Mosquitos: 64 Me: 3
Hellooo this is gonna be a little short but this week was good! We did have two people commit to baptism and then change their minds the next day though rip
Updates & thoughts:
-found out the tiny brown and white things ive been finding on my bed literally every night is gecko poop
-why are the spanish word for hair and onion so similar?? I told like 5 people I "love your onion"
-taught my comp how to make crepes and now she's addicted
-everyone here calls each other mami or papi
-I know Halloween and Thanksgiving are very U.S but it feels wrong to be skipping right to Christmas in September
My music standards have kind of lowered the past few weeks but some of the youth album songs are actually pretty good, if you yourself are a fellow missionary needing to listen to something other than the tab choir my favorite songs of the youth albums are:
Fear not 2025
I need your strength 2025
Follow 2026
Rescue me 2026
Thats how I'll be 2016
Choose to stay 2017
You're not your mistakes 2019
Divine 2022
You already know it 2016
Priceless 2017
Hear it from you 2018
Also if you want tips on how to not be bored while walking all day i got you. I usually snap my fingers, kick rocks, rage bait dogs, or turn my umbrella inside out over and over and yes it is already breaking
General Conference was this weekend and I miss it already- only 6 months until the next one
I loved the talk by Sister Tamara W. Runia made me cry honestly
Some other talks i've listened to this week that are really good-
-The Character of Christ by Elder David A. Bednar
-Messages of Love by Elder Patrick Kearon
-Lifes Greatest Decisions by President President Thomas s Monson
I think only one of these is an actual conference talk but they're all so good
This Friday my comp and I are visiting the temple with our recent convert Yisel for the first time!
If you have any talks you like feel free to sent them! Love you all
Hma wride
